Privacy Policy
My Gunpla Collection may process data needed to provide the app, keep your collection available, secure your account, answer support requests, and apply the limits of your plan.
Depending on how you use the app, this may include the following categories of data:
- Account data: email address, Firebase user identifier, email verification state, sign-in provider, Terms and Privacy acceptance, language or locale, main device/session information, and active plan.
- User profile and military dossier: nickname, pilot identifier, avatar, rank, progression, biography, statistics, unlocked cards, rewards, badges, and seen/unseen states.
- Collection and kits: kits added by the user, names, grades, series, statuses, notes, optional prices, favorites, history, custom kit data, wishlist, and shopping list information.
- Photos: kit photos, gallery images, build reports, chrono/journal photos, todo or shopping photos, avatar, paint mix photos, and community photos when applicable.
- Notes and sessions: build logs, journal entries, chrono sessions, todo items, history, and project notes.
- Paint Tools: owned paints, stock, favorites, paint shopping lists, custom mixes, mix photos, community paint sheets, validations, reports, and suggestions.
- Community features: community kit or paint sheets, contributor name when accepted, validations, reports, suggestions, and community badges.
- Premium and purchases: active plan, purchase or subscription status, restore purchases information, plan source, and feature limits according to the offer.
- Support and diagnostics: email address, description of the issue, screenshots voluntarily provided, synchronization status, export or loading errors, and diagnostics needed to solve a support request.
The app may rely on Firebase Auth, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Hosting, StoreKit and Apple in-app purchases, and Brevo SMTP for Firebase/Auth emails when applicable. Domain, DNS, and email forwarding may use Porkbun. The website may use privacy-conscious lightweight analytics if enabled, without advertising tracking. External links, including Amazon or other merchant links, may open third-party services governed by their own policies.
Photo and cloud behavior depends on the plan. FREE and the PRO one-time purchase are local-first and do not include Premium photo cloud or Premium multi-device access. Pro+ supports multi-device cloud for supported categories: collection and build report images may use consultation and optimized variants, while utility images are consultation-only and are never presented as original cloud backup. Pro+ MAX extends cloud support and may include originals only for supported collection and build report categories; it is not universal original backup for every image.
The app is local-first. Local copies already stored on your device are not automatically deleted because of a downgrade, cancellation, or plan change. Cloud is not unlimited, permanent, or guaranteed to keep every photo in original quality.
After a subscription expires, an approximately 30-day cloud recovery period may apply before some Premium cloud copies that are no longer covered by your plan may become eligible for deletion. During that period, compatible Premium cloud copies may remain recoverable. Full cloud export is currently partial and covers compatible modeled cloud copies; legacy or incomplete images may require a future secure export path.
Users remain responsible for the images they upload. My Gunpla Collection does not claim ownership of users’ personal photos. Depending on the active plan and supported image categories, some photos may remain local while others may be stored or synchronized through supported cloud features.
